1800, A Scientific Revolution Century

In 1800, known as the 19th century, there was not only industrial revolution but it had scientific revolution too. First time ever people adopted the science as profession. There were inventors everywhere who wanted to be popular or rich or gain power by some new invention as we can see in Frankenstein that victor discovered the secret of life and creates an intelligent but bizarre monster to gain power.
